We stopped in for a coffee and stayed for breakfast. Both the coffee and Smash Browns were delicious. The owner was just opening up when we arrived, and was very accomodating and friendly. We're now planning to go back for lunch or dinner to try the ravioli.

Best pizzas! Super authentic. Tiramisu was too sweet but the coffee was amazing! As good as in italy! I loved the crab ravioli but it could be made tastier and fresher! Barely tasted any crab in it! Overall if you like pizzas and coffee, this is the best place! Super authentic as well!

The almond croissant is delightful, great sweet snack with a coffee. Today tried the iced Americano for the first time, it was lovely and refreshing! Staff are very friendly and accommodating. It's the only cafe I've visited where the staff have dissolved the sugar in the espresso before making the iced coffee as requested. Would recommend 100%!- Service

Very comfortable seating and very good atmosphere. Very friendly staff with fast service and amazing food for good prices. The staff are also very helpful and understanding when handling food for vegetarians and make sure no meat contact is made. 10/10 highly recommended

Really lovely experience. Food was quick and tasty, and just what I needed. Staff were friendly, and they even offered a student discount! Will certainly be back again soon!

We were not sure were to dine for the night out after a walk our, but turned out to be a perfect example of a Italian restaurant, with genuine Italian waiters , genuine italian food and italian music. We had the chicken liver pate, in house made, absolutely beautiful, pasta carbonara was amazing! Si was the lasagna ! Bellisomo! 😊🥂
Such a cool little place, very chill and welcoming. I had the Pizza Capriccio and it was probably the best pizza I've ever eaten.

A little bit of Italy in the heart of Durham. Proper authentic Italian cafe atmosphere and food in this cosy hideaway. Pizza's are beautiful and at a great price, try the potatoe skins on the side which are a tasty change from fries. Run by a friendly Italian family and if you speak the language you'll feel right at home. Highly recommended for cafe drinks or a bite to eat at any time.

Popped into Cafe Capriccio for a spot of lunch, as soon as we walked through the door we were greeted with a small and offered a few places to sit (where we found best). The staff were very friendly and very good with my two little girls. While they don't have a children's menu they will offer smaller portions in the pasta dishes at a lesser price which I found great as some places refuse to do this. The food portions are very good and the food is delicious. They offer a good selection of dishes and drinks for a good price. I will definitely be coming again when I am next in Durham.- Service

I was looking for a nice little café to sit outside in the sun with my dog and came across Capriccio’s. The service from the young lady and gentleman was great and the pizza was beautiful! My food arrived quickly & I was welcomed inside to make payment where jars of cannoli caught my eye… a couple of chocolate ones to go and I was wished a good day. I’ll definitely come back here :)
